Nathan Galvan (He/Him, They/Them)

LPC Associate

Howdy!

My name is Nathan Galvan. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology. As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, I am here to support you on your therapeutic journey.

I understand that finding the right therapist can be challenging, and not every therapist will be the perfect fit for your needs. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship, built on trust and connection, is essential for effective therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood.

I am passionate about supporting young teens and adults in the LGBTQIA+ community, providing a safe and welcoming environment to explore their identities and experiences. Additionally, I am dedicated to helping neurodivergent individuals, particularly youth. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, using evidence-based practices to address and heal past traumas. I believe that supporting our youth can lay a strong foundation for a healthier future. By incorporating psychoeducation and mindfulness techniques, I aim to equip my clients with the tools they need to thrive.

When I’m not in a therapy session, you’ll likely find me immersed in a gaming session. I am an avid gamer, both offline and online, and actively participate in mental health and neurodivergent communities. Through these platforms, I work to raise awareness and provide safe spaces for individuals to share their experiences and seek support.

To ensure we are the right fit, I offer a free 30-minute consultation. This initial meeting allows us to discuss your needs and determine how we can best work together on your path to well-being.

Why Did you Become a Therapist?

I became a therapist because I’ve always had a passion for helping people navigate their mental and emotional challenges. Ever since I was young, I was the go-to person for friends and family when they needed someone to talk to. This led me to study psychology and forensic psychology, and eventually, I found my true calling in therapy.
