Briana Gonzalez-Evans (She/Her/Hers)
LPC-Associate
Welcome! I’m Bri (she/her), a licensed professional counselor associate under the supervision of Jennifer Buffalo, LPC-S, LMFT. I am passionate about helping people who feel stuck and want to learn more about themselves or are trying to understand why they act and think the way they do. I have a special interest in working with people who have experienced religious trauma and individuals struggling with anxiety, boundary-setting, panic attacks, OCD, and phobias. I also enjoy working with couples navigating challenges around communication, connection, and sexual dynamics. My goal is to support you in finding clarity, building stronger relationships, and creating a more fulfilling life.
While my approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I integrate other modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). For example, I might use CBT to address thought patterns, ACT to help align your actions with your values, Mindfulness to increase self-awareness, Solution-Focused Therapy to set achievable goals, and IFS to explore internal conflicts. This allows me to tailor my approach to best meet your unique needs.
I am sex-positive, body-positive, and affirming of all orientations and relationship structures. I believe in creating a non-judgmental environment where you can explore your concerns freely, feeling accepted and respected. I aim to meet you where you are and work collaboratively to help you gain new insights, heal, and ultimately thrive.
If you’re ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can work toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.
